Kelly Jordan, MA
Kelly Jordan is a pre-licensed clinician who works with women, teens, and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, relational conflict, identity development, and life transitions. She is especially passionate about helping women and teens heal from complex trauma—including survivors of sex trafficking—and offers a steady, compassionate presence rooted in empathy, empowerment, and safety.
Originally from a small ski town in Colorado, Kelly has lived across the country but now calls Alaska home. She loves spending time with her family, spoiling her dogs, and enjoying the seasons—whether that’s hiking in the sun or curling up by the fire with a book and coffee. She also loves partner dancing and finds joy in the creativity, connection, and movement it brings.
EDUCATION & TRAINING
Kelly began her counseling career working with children and adolescents using experiential play therapy, later expanding her focus to include individuals and families affected by complex trauma and PTSD. She holds a Master’s in Clinical Christian Counseling and is currently pursuing state licensure under the supervision of Mary Kuepper. Her approach integrates evidence-based modalities such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), narrative therapy, motivational interviewing, and polyvagal-informed strategies.
COUNSELING PERSPECTIVE
Kelly’s work is grounded in attachment theory and neuroscience. She incorporates psychoeducation on brain functioning, memory, and nervous system regulation to help clients better understand themselves and create meaningful, lasting change. Her philosophy is holistic—addressing emotional, relational, cognitive, and practical needs—and she strives to meet each client with warmth, attunement, and clinical skill. When appropriate and client-led, she offers faith integration as part of the therapeutic process.
