Experience
Luke's clinical work focuses on supporting adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, chronic stress, academic and career pressures, and relationship challenges. He has a particular interest in helping young men navigate changing family dynamics, identity development, and the transition into adulthood.
In addition to his clinical work, Luke serves on the board of New Hope Counseling Center, supporting its mission to increase access to mental healthcare.
Counseling Perspective
Luke's approach is person centered, collaborative, and grounded in genuine connection. He brings a steady, thoughtful presence to therapy, helping clients feel comfortable speaking openly about their experiences.
Drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), existential therapy, and solution-focused approaches, Luke balances practical strategies with opportunities for deeper reflection. He helps clients better understand the patterns that may be keeping them stuck, identify their personal values, and find meaningful ways to move forward.
Luke recognizes that questions of spirituality and meaning can be important parts of a person's life and welcomes these conversations when they align with a client's beliefs and interests. His goal is to help clients develop greater self awareness and build lives that feel authentic and purposeful.
